In’s & Out’s of the Thaden Family

We were offered to go out this evening by our friend Krystal to a jazz club. It was very nice and kind of her to call and include us. Margaret was up for going if I wanted to go, so I had this massive weight to decide what I wanted to do (for us). So me being the home body I am, I decided to stay home. I’m hoping she didn’t take it as an insult.

I’ve bought quite a bit of music tonight. It’s nice that now a days we have the opportunity to buy individual tracks to whole albums. This way you can save money on turd albums that have a couple good tunes. Tonight I bought 2 A-Ha albums, 1 In Flames album, 1 INXS album, and 1 Yanni tune. I know what I’ll be doing Monday: Dissecting the music. I’m really critical when it come’s to music. It’s weird, I can really get into the “jazz/avante-gard” music of Mr. Bungle, but if you have me listen to say……The White Stripes…..that’s utter hell for me.

We’re supposed to get snow tomorrow and on in through the night, so naturally the grocery stores were madhouses. Luckily we have a whole chicken and turkey in our deep freezer in case something drastic happens. What am I talking about? This is Tennessee for crying out loud not South Dakota!!!

Well kids, I’m off to get another glass of wine and I’m gonna listen to some tunes.
