Well, 2 weeks and one day after we got the kitties, we had to give them back. Margaret has been suffering pet allergies like crazy and it brought on her asthma something fierce. It was hard for me to take those 2 fur balls back to the owner, but it was something we had to do for my wife’s health. I still miss them kids. I cried like a baby. In fact we both did. We scrubbed the whole downstairs and had the windows open to get some fresh air flowing.
She noticed a big difference right away with the kitties stuff gone out of the house. The owner we adopted them from was real nice and said we can come and visit any time we wanted too. That’s very sweet. The thing I hate most about the situation is that Jane and Britches have no control of what goes on in their lives. I mean, they looked at me like “what did we do?” It broke my heart so bad. Jane was chewing on the cage door to get out of the pet carrier. I felt so bad. I still do. If God would grant a miracle to my wife to not have any allergy known to man, that is something I (we) could live with.
She’s been suffering asthma attacks, running and stinging eyes, stuffed up nose, constant sneezing, and sinus pressure. That was before she went to the doctor, she still has those symptoms but much less. I read it’ll take awhile for the dander to go away and our house to get back to normal.
I’ll have her post 2 pics of them two playing or something.
Britches and Jane, we miss you both very much and miss seeing your little eye looking at us from the upstairs landing when we come home. We hope you have long happy lives and sleep with the best of them.
Our little family currently consists of Darryl, me, along with our pups Lucas & Lily. We've been together for 14 years now, and we love every minute of it. I enjoy all types of crafty things such as knitting, crocheting, photography, sewing, and making cards. Darryl enjoys gaming (both PC and PS3), playing guitar, cooking, and just veggin out. Lucas and Lily just love to sleep, eat, and pets.
