I’ve created two new scrapbook pages today for my brother’s scrapbook. Not professional, but I like them.
While I was in the middle of posting the above pictures Darryl received a call from his mom with bad news. Darryl’s younger brother Steven (who was only 19 years old) passed away @ 2:30pm this afternoon. I never got to meet Steven, but Darryl talked to him on the phone and being the snoop that I am I listened to the conversation often. He sounded like a funny, lively, energetic person. The last time Darryl spoke to him Steve talked about going back to school to be a meteorologist, and moving out. He was anxious to start his life and was so full of hope for the future. I am sorry that I never met Steven; he sounded a lot like my Darryl…
Our little family currently consists of Darryl, me, along with our pups Lucas & Lily. We've been together for 14 years now, and we love every minute of it. I enjoy all types of crafty things such as knitting, crocheting, photography, sewing, and making cards. Darryl enjoys gaming (both PC and PS3), playing guitar, cooking, and just veggin out. Lucas and Lily just love to sleep, eat, and pets.

I am so so sorry to hear of your loss, My prayers will be with both of you and the Thaden family.
You’re too hard on yourself Maggie. Your scrapbook pages are beautiful! A scrapbook is personal and from the heart – not some store bought, generic “professional” thing.
Thanks for that pep talk Becky! Sometimes when I’m looking at website and seeing these wonderful pages I start thinking how crapy mine look in comparison, but you’re right that my pages are from the heart. I’m looking forward to seeing what my brother and sister think of the scrapbooks.
