Life

I’m so glad that 2007 has started off great. This year will be a great year.

My sister Holly recently told me that she’s going back to school (which I know she’ll kick ass!!!) to do what she’s always wanted to do. She wants to become a teacher. I think with her motivation she’ll be an excellent teacher and an excellent role model for other teachers in whatever school she chooses to teach at.
I’m in the process of mending the fences and starting anew with my other sister Chrissy to put that past behind us and move forward. Being as I’m her only brother now, I think it’s right that we start over again. As in the movie What About Bob: “Baby steps…”

My two little brothers; Chris and Travis; are doing well for themselves. I just need to get Trav motivated to read his books instead of collecting them. Chris has very ambitious goals for himself after he graduates from high school and I think he’ll do very VERY well for himself.
My mom and stepdad are doing great. They’re both looking forward to retirement and spending their days together (who isn’t?). Austin is where the home is for them two and I know we’re excited to visit them in their new home for some Elgin sausage and BBQ ribs (maybe BBQ chicken if we’re on a diet, lol). Heck maybe fajita’s too! With some loverly margaritas!!! We love and miss them two so much!!!!!! (which reminds me that I need to call them soon).

The extended family is doing great as far as I know.

Now, Margaret and I have a friend named Krystal that’s pregnant and she recently found out that she’s having a baby girl. Her and her boyfriend (soon to be husband?) named her Kathryn Renee Crouch.  So, big round of congratulations to them.

What else, what else…..I think that’s all. Oh wait, a quick update on Margaret and I. She’s doing great in school while battling math (she hates that subject, but I help her) and I’m starting my ‘computer as a tool’ class this coming week (will be easy for me). Work is going great for us. We’re getting antsy about retirement, because we feel we should be doing more as far as preparation. I know we’re 29, but we both want to make sure we have an abundance of funds with nothing to worry about. I also made “Darryl’s” today for dinner and that filled us up.

okay, that’s officially it from us kids. BTW, order some Elgin sausage and have it delivered to your door. It’s the best sausage you’ll ever eat. Honestly, it’s the way sausage was meant to taste.

Adios amigos and amigas from your numero uno gringo!

Eventually we are getting married. We had a big talk about how important it is to me for my children to have a real family and a father who’ll always be there. He loves me more than any man ever has, and I love him more than anyone I’ve ever met. We talk about a big family. And seeing how he didn’t really have a family I feel privileged to be the one who gives it to him.

I can’t wait for our house to finish being built! So we can move in and start a life.

As for the wedding, we’re going to wait to get married till I’m back down to my normal size. (I know I’m vain but I only get one set of wedding pictures right?!)

Chin up Maggie I hate math too, mostly because it seems to hate me :-( Keep at it and you’ll get it!

Glad to hear you guys are so well!
