…I mean Idol?
So as ya’ll have heard, Journey has a new singer named Arnel Pineda. His vocals are reminiscent of Steve Perry, but not exactly. I have a feeling that Journey (the band) are trying to hang on to their youthfulness (singer wise) by getting a Steve Perry sound a like.
I got to give credit where credit is due, but Lord how many singers will Journey go through till they get the matured and broad ranged voice that is Journey back into the fold? I guess never, because of attorney’s and the legaleese B.S. that happens when people try to screw one another.
It truly is sad, Journey might have changed their sound months before Perry’s album debut, but that doesn’t change the fact that they were at the height of there career when Steve Perry was in the group.
(might as well put in a revolving door for singers with Journey.)
Our little family currently consists of Darryl, me, along with our pups Lucas & Lily. We've been together for 14 years now, and we love every minute of it. I enjoy all types of crafty things such as knitting, crocheting, photography, sewing, and making cards. Darryl enjoys gaming (both PC and PS3), playing guitar, cooking, and just veggin out. Lucas and Lily just love to sleep, eat, and pets.
It’s funny that you are talking about Journey. Nikki was watching some of their old vids about 3 days ago. She really likes some of there stuff….she can live without the nuthugger pants though!! I believe I was her age when I saw them in concert..sheesh! I’ll have to check out the new singer’s talent, I didn’t think you could find anyone that sang like Steve Perry. Love ya brother!

I think it’s hard to sing the same ole’ songs with a new singer and expect it to have success, I agree that what they really need is some fresh songs, and to re-define themselfs.
You guys doing ok? How’s the house sellin going? Kate’s WALKING!!! It’s crazy she’s so smart too she knows the letters A, B and C, and knows that A is for Apple and can say apple too, she talks all the time I am amazed by her everyday~! it’s crazy!
