Our good friends Jaime & her husband Omar gave us the coolest goodbye gift yesterday. I tried to get a good clear shot, but it’s impossible with out making it look really gross. Anyway… it’s a photo that Omar took while they were out kayaking. I loved the angle and the subject of the photo already, but Omar added a little extra something to it by making it look and feel like a painting. I don’t know how it did it, but it’s amazing! Darryl and I both totally love it and it will have a prominent place on the wall of our new house.
Our little family currently consists of Darryl, me, along with our pups Lucas & Lily. We've been together for 14 years now, and we love every minute of it. I enjoy all types of crafty things such as knitting, crocheting, photography, sewing, and making cards. Darryl enjoys gaming (both PC and PS3), playing guitar, cooking, and just veggin out. Lucas and Lily just love to sleep, eat, and pets.
I cannot believe you all are gone. I was just looking at sites that were on my favorites and I found a link to your site. Well congratulation on the purchase of your new house. I hope all goes well for you both in that cold cold cold state of Michigan. When I make my next venture up to the area I will send Maggie an email and maybe we could get together. Not sure when my next trip will be but I will let you know.

Yea, that picture is awesome. I can’t wait to find a place for it to hang in the house!!! When we start doing the recessed lighting we’re going to need a spot light for that picture and some of the other special pictures we have.
