So far this week I’ve had 2 nights where I haven’t slept for anything. I wake up around 1 or 2 in the morning and then my mind starts racing with thoughts of songs going through my head, figuring out guitar parts running through my head, and the worlds issues running through my mind.
Nothing like thinking about the 7.7 trillion dollar bailout running through your mind with Hall & Oates playing Sara Smile. “Cause it’s you, and me, forev-ahh-aaaHHHAAHHH!!”
So, then I try to silence my mind to hear the natural white noise that surrounds us. (“It’s an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.”) And that didn’t help, because what do I hear sneaking up on me when I think I’m about to lull myself back into sleep?
That’s right, Dominick the Donkey.
Oh well, thankfully when I got up Margaret had my lunch made and coffee ready for me.
Don’t know what I’d do without her sometimes. Other times though….I just want to upgrade to an ’88 model hehe. Just kidding sweetness. *wink wink*
Our little family currently consists of Darryl, me, along with our pups Lucas & Lily. We've been together for 14 years now, and we love every minute of it. I enjoy all types of crafty things such as knitting, crocheting, photography, sewing, and making cards. Darryl enjoys gaming (both PC and PS3), playing guitar, cooking, and just veggin out. Lucas and Lily just love to sleep, eat, and pets.
