I’ve been thinking about this lately. See we call each other momma and diddy to Lucas. Don’t know why, it’s just something we did. Now does that mean we look at our pup as a human child? Certainly not. Maybe it’s some sort of instinctual thing for us to call each other his momma and diddy for him, but how do people cross the line as thinking the animal holds a quality of a human child?
To me that’s weird.
I don’t know if we’ll change how we talk to Luke when we have a child or it’ll just keep on keepin on. Don’t know, the topic just crossed my mind and thought I’d share.
Our little family currently consists of Darryl, me, along with our pups Lucas & Lily. We've been together for 14 years now, and we love every minute of it. I enjoy all types of crafty things such as knitting, crocheting, photography, sewing, and making cards. Darryl enjoys gaming (both PC and PS3), playing guitar, cooking, and just veggin out. Lucas and Lily just love to sleep, eat, and pets.
