There are times in a person’s life that justifies sticking up for things morally and right, such as Constitutional Rights, abolishing racism (or racist ways), and the need to NOT want to drink left over orange juice.
It all started over a bowl of oatmeal on a cool Monday morning. Margaret wanted something to drink to cool down her tummy, so she decided on orange juice. Now, we have these glasses that I dubbed ‘short fatties’ to drink from (They’re cute and small and if you want pics of them, just ask) and they hold just the right amount of fluids if you don’t want a lot of something to drink.
SO!
Margaret drinks about 3/4ths of the OJ and asks if I want the rest. That morning, orange juice didn’t sound to appealing to my stomach, so I declined. That wasn’t good enough, so she scoots her cup towards me and walks into the kitchen to put up her empty bowl. I gladly scoot it back towards her side of the table, because I seriously didn’t want it. She came back in to the dining room and see’s the juice sitting at her place and while she chuckles, she scoots it back towards me saying, “just drink it, I don’t like to waste juice,” after telling her again that I didn’t want it.
It didn’t phase her.
Nope. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday went by with this poor little cup being shuffled around as a lonely pawn looking to score a checkmate on our table. It wasn’t until Friday morning did that little cup disappear. I asked Margaret what happened to the glass of orange juice and she said, “Well, you weren’t going to drink it, so I poured it down the drain, plus I was tired of looking at it.”
Poor little glass of juice, had to wait till Friday morning to get tossed, but you know, sometimes you just don’t want to drink what’s left over.
Our little family currently consists of Darryl, me, along with our pups Lucas & Lily. We've been together for 14 years now, and we love every minute of it. I enjoy all types of crafty things such as knitting, crocheting, photography, sewing, and making cards. Darryl enjoys gaming (both PC and PS3), playing guitar, cooking, and just veggin out. Lucas and Lily just love to sleep, eat, and pets.
