I’m 32 right now and I remember way back when that money was all that I could think of. I even confessed to Margaret; when we were 19; that people should give me money, because I am who I am. That amount would equal to a few million (if you’re out there listening, I’m talking to you!).

But I no longer feel that way. Nope, money isn’t where it’s at for me anymore, it’s family time. I’ve really enjoyed spending time with Margaret’s family down in Tennessee and my dad and Monique here as of late. We’re already talking about trips to seeing the rest of our family that’s spread out across the United States.

Family is where it’s at and I’m thankful that at my young age that I’ve come to realize that. Sure money is nice to have, but that’s not where my happiness lies anymore.

I’ll have to chalk this life lesson as a learning experience and I’m happy that I’ve learned it.
