Busy day… was very very unorganized today for some reason. The baby shower was a blast and everyone had fun. Christy & her hubby Michael got some really great gifts.

Now that I’m home I’m really tired and all I want to do is go to bed. See y’all later

Busy week with some good news

Wow this week has been so busy… Helped a friend paint her apartment, went shopping for baby shower gifts, working on a baby brag book for the baby shower, getting the baby shower games together, returned clothes to Kohl’s, went shopping at Target, baking a baby shower cake today, finishing the baby brag book, working on our school papers for this weekend (we have 4 that have to be turned in). WOW that’s it? It sure did seem like a lot more when I was thinking about it in my head….

And the good new is I”m going to TN to visit in August from 8th-16th. I”m so excited to see all my friends and family. Darryl doesn’t get to go because he doesn’t have the vacation time yet. Hopefully he can live without me for 8 days. lol I should have lots of photos when I get back so watch out for the blog post saturated with pics…

Well almost time for me to hit the road to work so catch you later.

I want to thank everyone for the well wishes! I’m feeling so much better now. Honestly, my worst day was the day of the operation, and it wasn’t really that bad. During the day I’m drinking HUGE amounts of water, but at night my throat dries up and gets a little sore. The only thing I was not prepared for was the pain I felt in my ears and teeth. It hurt so much that I seriously thought something went wrong during the operation (the dr said it was normal). I started back at work on Monday which was very nice. I was going stir crazy being at home home doing nothing (except watching movies, drinking lots of water, scrapbooking, & surfing the web). Darryl and I have decided that he will definitely be the stay at home dad because I can’t take it.

Right now I’m getting ready for my s-i-l’s baby shower. I’m supposed to be the co-host, but I have no idea about anything that’s been done or needs to be done. I’ve tried to get info from my s-i-l and my s-i-l’s mother, but they either don’t call me back or don’t answer my questions. Oh well, I guess I’ll play this one by ear. It’s a good thing that I took vacation Thursday, Friday, and Monday or I would be running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I’ll make sure to post lot’s of pics of my s-i-l’s baby belly… I think pregnant women are so pretty.

Darryl has been studying to take his Dante’s next week so we can start the BSOM program on 11/7/07. He is doing so good and I’m so proud of him!Well I have nothing else to report on, but I’m sure Darryl will post tonight. Hope everyone has a happy and safe weekend!
