Working on

getting these off the needles (since they’ve been on almost 6 month). I’m not thrilled with the yarn, but it’s a trial pair. I prefer to knit the first run with yarn I’m not so in love with…that way  don’t have to worry if I’m not in love with them once they’re done.

Uncontrollable urges

Almost off the needles

Baby Stuff

Made some booties & a hat for little John over the weekend. I’m really enjoying making baby things.. they’re so cute and quick to knit/crochet up! Made these with Noro Furisode yarn. It’s from Japan and really nice to work with.

Girly girl things

I’m not big on pink, but my niece Arial loooooooooooves it. So I made her a purse with some really cute pink material I’ve been holding on to. I followed the Folklore Bag from One-Yard Wonders with corrections found here. I had some issues with the top part matching up with the bottom.

Love in every stitch

I made a baby blanket for the coming nephew. It’s easy peasy… bunch of squares not cut out correctly  I made it with remnants that I purchased from JoAnn’s. I really hope Michelle & lil John like it!

I finished the peapod for my S-I-L tonight. I think it’s cute and I believe it’ll keep little John warm. I tried to make it big enough for her to use it as LJ grows bigger.
