I finished the peapod for my S-I-L tonight. I think it’s cute and I believe it’ll keep little John warm. I tried to make it big enough for her to use it as LJ grows bigger.

Yep, it’s pretty much all he’s getting from me. The pattern is from Knits Men Want. I love the book!!! I’ll post a photo of both socks on him when I’m done.

The pattern “Blue Leaf Headband” was very easy. To get a warmer headband and keep the correct size I used a thicker yarn and smaller needles.

Okay I cabled this headscarf. The cables are a little off in areas, but I’m very happy with it.

Calorimetry is a scientific term describing the measurement of heat lost or gained. So I made a headscarf aptly named Calorimetry. It’s an easy pattern and took only a few hours to finish. I’m currently making another one with a much thicker/heavier yarn. Hope it comes out just as good as this one did.

There are a few flaws, but over all I’m happy with it
Our little family currently consists of Darryl, me, along with our pups Lucas & Lily. We've been together for 14 years now, and we love every minute of it. I enjoy all types of crafty things such as knitting, crocheting, photography, sewing, and making cards. Darryl enjoys gaming (both PC and PS3), playing guitar, cooking, and just veggin out. Lucas and Lily just love to sleep, eat, and pets.
