This is the living room going into the dinning room

this is the 2nd bedroom that Darryl and I are currently using as the master bedroom … take a look at the extra small closet…. it’s the perfect height for me, but Darryl has to duck to walk in (hehehehehe)

this is the 3rd bedroom that we are currently using as a hold all room

this is the hallway leading up to the 2nd floor…. the entire up stairs has real hardwood floors that’s been covered up with carpet (yuck)… the hardwood floors are the only redeeming aspect of the 2nd floor… we’ll talk about that whole ordeal later… much later…. much much later…

oh yeah… directly to the right is the bathroom… I didn’t take a photo of the bathroom because I didn’t think anyone would be interested… if you are interested in seeing the bathroom… well I think that’s just plan sick! But being the nice person that I am I’ll describe it to you (use your imagination if you have one). It’s has emerald tiles on the floor, white tiles on the wall, and the sink is white and green marble swirl. As you walk in the bathroom the tub is to the left and the sink and toilet are to the right. The tub is very deep (seems like the sides come all the way up to my knees) and very narrow. The sink and toilet are standard size, but the mirror above the sink is amazing. It stretches all the way across the room. It’s so large they had to put the light switch and plug ins in the very middle. I swear on the bible I’m not making that up!!! I might just take a photo of that one day to prove that I’m not lying….

notice two very important pieces missing from this kitchen???? I’ll give you a hint… one cools the food and one heats the food… yep you guessed it the fridge and the range… they are on order…. we’re not sure when they will be delivered…

this is the scary hallway leading into the basement…. very dark and scary… I don’t like going down here without Darryl…

down the stairs and directly to your left is the laundry room and right across the hall is another room that houses the water heater and furnace (I didn’t take a photo of the room with the water heater and furnace. those that want to see it let me know and I’ll post a photo)

past the laundry room is the hobbies area… Darryl has finally set up the computers so we can get on and post. To the left of the room is his music area and to the right of the room is my scrapbooking area. Don’t you just LOVE the wood paneling??? Yep, we’re gonna take all that down some day.

and of course here is a photo of my Darryl enjoying the hobbies room. I just love him!

Our good friends Jaime & her husband Omar gave us the coolest goodbye gift yesterday. I tried to get a good clear shot, but it’s impossible with out making it look really gross. Anyway… it’s a photo that Omar took while they were out kayaking. I loved the angle and the subject of the photo already, but Omar added a little extra something to it by making it look and feel like a painting. I don’t know how it did it, but it’s amazing! Darryl and I both totally love it and it will have a prominent place on the wall of our new house.

We close on the 30th and we’ll be out by the 28th, so we’re rockin’ and rollin’.

We very fortunate and appreciative that my Dad and Monique are letting us stay with them for the two months we have till we move up north. Very very nice. Well folks I’m out.

We do have some good news though. Our house has sold and we close on June 30th. It’s a great relief to get out from under this house since we need to be in Michigan by September 1st. I know the people who get this house really don’t have anything to worry about since we updated a ton of stuff.

Let’s see, the weather here sucks with the high humidity. When it’s 90+ degrees and the humidity is anywhere from 50 to 80 percent something has to give. Luckily we planted hearty plants outside that can live with small amounts of water.

Other than that, that’s all I got kids. I’m out!

It kind of reminds me of when Margaret and I got married and we had nothing but the essentials. I miss those times. We get to do it all over again. Hopefully the economy will hold out till we move and get settled.

Anyway, our jobs are going along as they should and…..that’s about it.
