Can skip to the 3:05 mark to avoid the cookie monster vocals. Honestly don’t much care for the cookie monster vocals with this group, because the singer has a great voice for what they play.

Now for good cookies check out some Morbid Angel or old Paradise Lost.

Neil, if you ever read this I want you to know that your voice has held up very well over the years. Since I was born in 78, I’ve had a chance to listen to many talents; I can tell that not only vocally, but compositionally; you’re very well articulate and musically dignified with expressing your emotion.

Honestly, John Lennon comes to mind when hearing Neil Finn; play or putting out new songs; whether solo or within Crowded House. I never really listened to the Bealtes or John Lennon, but I know the lyrical impact of both and that’s what Neil makes me think (if I had grown up during that time).

I know I would like to record or at least jam with Neil, because I think he’d be able to tune any kind of ditty into a memorable tune.

because I’ve never been and I would love to go to one!!! Any I’m not picky about who I see… but sadly my hubby is very picky about what music he listens to. :0(

Margaret will even tell you that it took me awhile to even allow her to hear me play.

What brought this on was that a lady Margaret works with plays guitar and also in a band setting. She sent me a clip and it was good. Now tonight I was trying to record something I could send back, but I wasn’t happy with the tone I was achieving, I didn’t want to set up a microphone to record my amp, and plus I didn’t want to change my strings. You can hear how dead my strings sound, because they’re months old. I don’t know, I could come up with a million reasons as to why someone should not hear my play, but I think in the end it’s because I don’t want to disappoint.

So world, out there. Sorry if you’re kinda curious, but all you’re getting are the silly samples I put up on this site when I was testing out my humbucker I installed.

I heard a song on Live365 and it was called Traces by a group called Halica. So, I didn’t have to ask people about the main riff of the song or anything, but I heard a snippet that sounded really cool.

Margaret and I got the opportunity to download 50 songs for free today. Lo and behold, this site has the album. I figured that it was mellow and cool, so why not check out the rest of the album right?

Good Jeffin’ Lord, this is not what I expected. Imagine recording a melody you created and looping it over and over with a drum beat behind it. Boring as hell is what I call it. I was so bummed. I thought I would be getting so much more, but it’s just boring music.

I was brought back to a time when I was a kid and hearing a snippet on the radio and eventually getting the cassette to listen to the sound and fury of the awesomeness of what I had heard. Unfortunately, I was let down; as I was when I was a child; again.

I guess till this day anybody can get a record deal and put out crap. Don’t get me wrong; if I could; I’d remix this album and actually make structure of these songs.

Damn this terrible music!!! Damn it all to hell!
