The subject was “Thankful” and the object of the exercise was to scrap about something you’re thankful for. Well I’m thankful for so many things I couldn’t pin down just one, so I wrote them all down and stamped Thankful over the top. I’m happy with the results.

Here are the cards that we made for each other.  Darryl made the one on the left, and I made the one on the right. What Darryl lacks in creativity he makes up for in words. I’m not going to tell you what the inside of the card says, but just for the record my husband has a way with words!!!! =)

I wasn’t ready to leave after the 2 hours so we’re planing another scrapnight hopefully real soon. We’ve decided that the next scrapbooking get together should be more of a full day instead of just a few hours. I’m so excited!!!!

Now with the kitchen and dinning room in order we will be able to relax a little more. I’ll be posting pics of my dinning room soon.. I love the way it feels like home now!

So any way… This photo was taken right before D and I left for MI. I plan on sending this to my mom & dad along with some others for my siblings. I’m gonna get a new frame since this one is busted.

So to help make the transition easier on them (yeah right) I decided to make up little care packages to send them. I figure it’ll help us stay in touch with each other outside of work. Below are the cards I’ve made to go along with the care packages. Once I’m finished with everything I’ll post a photo of all the cool stuff I’m sending them from St. Joe!!! I know I’m totally the nicest person ever… you don’t have to tell me… ;)

This is the paper shelf that Darryl built for me after I’ve loaded it down with paper and other bits and pieces. He did a wonderful job making sure it’s stable and won’t collapes under the weight of all my paper. He also helped me turn the wire baskets you see on the 2nd shelf from the bottom into pull out shelfs. He is so super smart! I love my new paper shelf!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And here is the whole kit and caboddle. This is where all the magic happens… my scrapbooking area! I love it !!!
