And the good new is I”m going to TN to visit in August from 8th-16th. I”m so excited to see all my friends and family. Darryl doesn’t get to go because he doesn’t have the vacation time yet. Hopefully he can live without me for 8 days. lol I should have lots of photos when I get back so watch out for the blog post saturated with pics…

Unfortunately Darryl didn’t find anything, but I had better luck. I found a really pretty basket that’s large enough to hold my scraps of fabric so I don’t have to keep them in a box now.

Darryl and I still have no life right now. We go to school, work, & and occasionally visit the parents. As of June Darryl and I will be doubling up on classes so we can get out of the GW (gateway) program and in to the BSOM (bachelors in organizational management). It will be hectic for awhile, but I’m glad we’ll be graduating much sooner then expected.

I’ll let ya’ll in on a little hint though, part of the something special is a podcast from our own blog. Oh yea, I know everyone’s excited now!! I got some idea’s and Margaret (I’m sure) has some or will have some great ones as we go along.

The main something that is special is just for me to know and for my little misses to have in many years time. Well okay, my mom knows (Mom, you better not say a word to anyone!!!! (even Holly)).

Margaret wanted to buy something so we went to Target and found nothing. How odd is this, she is in the book isle and there’s nothing there that she wants that has been released? I know I know, Margaret not being able to find a book? Absurd isn’t it? Well, I perused the gaming isle and while I could’ve gotten a couple of Mario games for my DS, but I know me. I would’ve gotten tired of them after 5 minutes. We were restless, bored, and wanted to buy something!!!!!
SO…..

We ended up at Linens-N-Things after I suggested that we get us a special coffee mug. To say that it stopped with coffee mugs would be a lie. We bought us 2 special coffee mugs, 2 big cups that we’ll use for soup (chunky preferably), set of red wine glasses, set of white wine glasses, set of pilsner glasses, set of mugs, and 2 pillows. The brand of glasses we bought were Libbey. It’s funny that we came around to those, because our regular drinking glasses are Libbey brand. The weight, the feel in our paws, and the quality screamed out to us. So we bought them. I suggest them to anyone, not for the quality alone, but the cost (pretty cheep).

Welp, I’m off to make some creamy chicken and mushroom soup for the misses (remember, chunky soup!!)

So the guy gets me a ladder and some gloves so I can rescue the poor thing. While I’m going up to grab this little bird it keeps flapping its wings, because it doesn’t know me or what I’m gonna do to it. I can just imagine how scared it was. So I was gently arranging this little fella so I could free him and I noticed his body was kinda wedged in the fence. Sorta like if you were sitting on a fence post and all you’d have to do is fall to your left and you’d be fine, but this little guy got a wing stuck and everytime he kept flapping he was cutting the fence into his leg. As I was freeing it, it was pooping all over the place. Poor thing must’ve been frightened something awful. As it realized it was free to go it flew off.

Now the sad part. It flew to a transformer and it didn’t land on it. Instead it darted to the grass. I knew at that point something was up with it’s leg. And it kinda hobbled around from that point on. I figured I did all I could; minus calling a vet and paying for this guy’s bill; and finished our shopping.

When we came back around the gentleman that helped me earlier said that the bird can’t fly and plopped out on the concrete roadway and him and his buddy tried to help it back in the grass. He thinks it might be a little disoriented, but who knows. Unfortunately, I think it might die at a young age. It was a baby anyway, but whatever happens, that was in the cards for the poor guy. I’ll pray for him. Sad story, but hey, Superman saved the day!! (hangs head with bad joke)
